Should I watch Mimi No Sumaseba?

Story: 10/10


Mimi wo Sumaseba, is based on a middle school adolescent who is in search of her identity. The anime takes you on a journey in which Shuzuku makes a lot a decisions that will make shape her future. Thus, if you're going through a tough time definitely learn something from this anime and watch it. The series seems to take place over a few months and thats a lot of time.

Craftsmanship: 10/10

I love the way they did all the characters in ghibi style. The characters all had their on look which made the watch experience a whole lot better. The Baron was done in a great way which made them look so amazing. The way he was done seemed to be quite complicated.

Sound: 10/10

I saw the movie quite a while back and it was in English. I watched both the versions just to compare and contrast. Its quite the same actually, a little bit of differences here and there but pretty much the same thing.   The whole tune, "Take Me Home, Country Roads" used to be one of my favorite tune, and hearing it in Japanese was cool. 

Character: 10/10

The characters like I already said are done in am amazing way. They really invite you to keep on watching and be a part of all thats going on. In particular I love how Seiji and Shizuka are close to each other. Shizuka who is trying to find her personality gets along very well with this dude and that kind of relation is not what you see in your regular anime. This is what makes it so special.
